No. If you already have iPads, iPhones or Android tablets, you can keep using them. Special hardware like the PAX A77 terminal you can get as a bundle from us with Swiss support, or buy yourself.
In the pilot program you get the PAX A77 at special conditions — purchase or monthly rental. The bundle includes Yoordi POS, Yoordi Pay, SIM card and Swiss support.
Yoordi POS runs on every iPad from the 9th generation (2021) with iPadOS 16 or newer. iPad mini, iPad Air and iPad Pro all work. iPhones need iOS 16 or newer.
Yes, any combination works. iPad in service, iPhone at the bar, PAX A77 in the food truck, 22-inch display in the kitchen — all in one Yoordi account.
You install Yoordi POS on a replacement device, log in — all your data is back instantly. With Yoordi-rented hardware we offer 24-hour replacement across Switzerland.
